Great product for garden edging in my walkway and keeping the garden hose from running over my plants .I just ordered a third box ! Very simple to put in the ground . I used two tools. Soil is poor here . A mix of rock , shell, clay ish type hard soil in spots . Sand in others . Just mark out your area and make a hole in the soil for the stake part , tap with hammer if needed -right in the center above the stake area. Fill hole with dirt on both sides of the border . Tapping also makes an even edge after placing them .I’ve done corners and curves and am happy the way it has turned out .They seem sturdy enough , I just hope they hold up to the heat and continue to look nice .I’m even considering building up other gardens since I have more depth as well .
