My kids love this bunk bed. It took my wife and I about 1.5 hours to set up, though it probably would have been closer to 45 minutes if it wasn't for my 4 year old "helping". Its extremely sturdy and feels safe for me, a 200 lb man, to go on the top bunk. The height of the top bunk is a lot lower than your average bunk bed, which makes me feel more at ease as a parent. If i had to make any complaint it is that the slide is pretty load, as it is only a thin piece of aluminum and you can hear the metal popping as weight is put on it. I highly recommend this bed!This bed comes in many many pieces and parts but the directions were clear and it was easy to put together with two people. The finished product was just like the picture and felt sturdy!Pros:-Directions were fairly straight forward-Assembly was pretty easy. It took my husband and me about 1-1.5 hours to assemble)-Fun design for kidsCons:-Wider and longer than the mattress so there are gaps. Potentially dangerous if kiddos' feet or legs slip through.-Came with a couple dents-Super squeaky/loud when there is any movement on the upper bunk. Our oldest weighs less than 40lbs and it is noisy as heck when he moves in his sleep.I will update the review if anything changes.This bed is cute and practical. The directions were a nightmare! Most things weren't labeled. The ones that were was hard to tell. I was shorted screws of one size and had too many of the other. We love the bed. If you're new at putting things together ask for help. I'm experienced with putting things together so I mustered thru it. My daughter loves it so it was worth it!Super cute and sturdy twin over twin frame but some pieces seemed super dirty almost rusty. Doesn't affect structure or stability but requires a little cleaning. Overall good value.We ordered this bed for our children. It's very sturdy and easy for them to get in and out of. However, I wouldn't buy again as it has come with many challenges. First, when putting it together black paint was rubbing off on everything and damaged our floors. We had to scrub the whole bed multiple times for our kids could use it without black getting on everything. Second, the house frame pieces for the top weren't even close to lining up. The parts were not bent or damaged, the holes just literally did not line up so we had to throw those parts away which my son's were very disappointed with. Third, there is no slats for the bottom bunk so the mattress sits directly on the ground allowing for no air flow.easy to assemble but items came dirty, all the poles have stains on them and unable to wash or wipe off!!!Nice modern take on the house bed! Came early, packaged exceptionally well. Was fairly easy to put together except for the support bars, they were tricky to get lined up. Overall very happy with my sons new big boy bed
