I received a smaller one as a gift when I adopted a rescue. The zipper does not zip. The unit itself is zipped but I can't unzip it to remove the cover to wash it appropriately. Fortunately it is small enough I just throw the whole thing in the wash. Probably not recommended, but you do what you gotta do, right? When I contacted customer service, they wanted to know all this information I don't have because it was a gift. I can send them photos, but that is literally the best I can do. I'll post as well if I can.In the meantime, my 110# boi loves that tiny thing and because of his age and weight, his hips don't allow him on the regular bed so I bought the XL version from Amazon myself. The exterior unzips just fine, no troubles. I just can't figure out if the bolster also unzips for a better wash. It may not, I have no idea. I got frustrated with it and just washed the whole thing covering, including bolster.Aside from the NOT EASY TO CLEAN issue, the dogs seem to love it and I'll probably buy again if customer service makes my zipper issue on the first one right.My dogs love this bed. The foam seems just OK to me—it's just shy of 3" and looks like cheap egg crate foam—but my dogs find it comfy and adore it. Their approval matters more to me than my perception of the foam! Plus, it is certified through the CertiPUR-US program; I checked CertiPUR's website to be sure.But FYI for those who want to recheck to see if the same's true in the future: their brand Bedsure is what's listed on CertiPUR's site. The sticker on the box said that the bed's produced in Wuxi, Jiangsu (Province), China, by "Shinebed International Business Co. Ltd." So, Shinebed isn't listed, and if you want to find the certification, then you need to look at Bedsure on the alphabetical list.Also, they do have a website of their own (in English, of course. It says the business is based in California.) You may want to price compare to see if it's cheaper there than on Amazon at the time you go to buy it.I haven't washed the cover yet, there have been no accidents to test the water-proof liner, and my dogs haven't tried to chew it, either. I'll edit my review if the bed turns out not to hold up to any of that in the future.I bought the jumbo for my largest dog (Dane, Shepard, lab, Pyrenees mix) after having three of the large size beds for a few years now. Let me tell you I was not expecting it to be so huge!! I know it lists the measurements but I didn’t take out a tape measure. It’s massive! It makes my dog look small. She’s at least 5’4 when standing upright. All four of my dogs could fit on it. In my picture, you can see my dog on the jumbo bed, to the left of the small black dog, there is an empty bed which is the size large of the same exact bed as the jumbo! Good quality, pretty easy to wash, lasts years (especially if you keep blankets on them). So thrilled!I bought this bed for my aging, arthritic collie who injured her back and needs a warm, soft place to sleep and rest while recuperating. I bought this bed specifically for the waterproof cover over the foam as well as the washable cover. The inner plastic liner is easy to wipe clean and dry. The velvety-soft outer cover zips off and on with ease. I have laundered mine every other day for the last two weeks; it has given me no cause for concern. It is well-designed and well-sewn -very sturdy. Best of all, my baby girl has loved it since the first time she lay down on it. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.I purchased this for my rescue German Shepard/Lab mix. She put on a lot of weight from me feeding her too much during COVID and was weighing in at about 74lbs. I noticed she wants to always lay against something to support her back. I liked that his bed has a raised edge to it so that she can use it it for that. She really stretches out fully in it. I put her older “crate pad” underneath the bed for extrA cushioning. She also used the raised edge to prop herself up a bit to look out the window. I bought the Large size. Grey color was good neutral with my floors. Fabric very soft but in this heat now I place an old cotton sheet over it to keep her a little cooler. Very pleased overall.Wow, I was skeptical about buying these, but I bought two and my cats really love them. They are well designed and easy for the cats to get into because of the opening in the front. The cats love to stretch out in them and rest their heads against the sides. I have one through the washer and dryer and it came out perfectly. I am really glad that I bought these.UPDATE: Company reached out with excellent customer service!! Sent me a free replacement bed for my troubles and didn’t make me return the ripped one. Would purchase from them again as you just don’t see service like this anymore. Thank you for making things right! My dog loves the bed.I was very excited about this bed. I have an older dog who moves around every 30 min at night because she can’t get comfortable.Right out of the box I noticed the stitching was coming undone at a corner by the zipper (see photo). Unsure how long this will hold up once it goes through the wash 1 or 2 times.It is super soft, which is wonderful. The padding along the edges of the bed don’t seem to be filled evenly, creating a lopsided/lumpiness. Also these padded edges are unable to be removed from the cover… therefore when washing, you will have to wash the edges as well. This definitely detracts from the overall wash ability.Overall I give this bed a two star review. For the poor construction, unevenness, and the misleading Information about its washability. I would return the the bed, but it appears to be a bit of a hassle.I expected better for the amount paid for this bed.This is not memory foam.Only the side head rests is "Orthopaedic". Essentially is just full of beanie babie beads.The main mattress itself is egg carton shaped foam layered on top of a flat piece of foam. You can see that I can pinch the foam together on the side in my photo.This is a hard pass. I would not recommend this to anyone who has a pet.Massive rip on product. Worst part is.... Having to find another box to return. Another sub quality/zero qc item from Amazon. Waste of time and $.Returned item. The mattress pad is lumpy, cheap and flattened out on the one end. Zero plushness & not memory foam. 1 star for the cover. I liked the colour and the material was soft, but sides were lumpy as well.Sure, it's soft, but it's so thin and flat - even after leaving it overnight to "spring" back from the tiny package it arrived in. The product pictures show this as looking firm and stuffed, but the base is a thin layer of egg carton foam, and the sides feel like they're partly stuffed with polyester fibre fill. I didn't expect anything truly "orthopedic" for $80, but honestly, this is not even worth half as much. I will have to keep another cushion under it, otherwise, our dog will feel like they're lying directly on the floor. It was a waste of money.
