This is my dogs' favorite cushion. I had to buy several - not only for each crate, but also for their beds on the floor! It washes well - just throw it in the wash. I do it on cold and regular. Also, it can be dried in the sunshine or outside, but if you put it in the dryer with wool dryer balls (not the sheets - the balls), it puffs up even more. I will say that it is NOT chew proof (chewing dog got his jaws on one and made some impressive bite-marks). Also, I struggled to get bad smell out when my dogs brought this to their baby sitter and a dog peed all over it and it wasn't washed promptly. The pee went deep in: I threw that one away. But they're cheap enough that you can do so and not worry much.
