Wasn't hard to put together but the parts didn't match the book all the way. Kind of a pain to install and get the tightness right but very doable. Wish it was a little softer material but for the price, it gets the job done.Zip tied (4) on each bar resting on one of the wooden slats. Holds in place with twin foam mattress. Assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow. My only gripe was that it was a pain to get the straps hooked together and then put the mattress back on the bed. Unfortunately it appears that Summer Infant changed the design mechanism of the connectors. The old system used to clip into itself. The rails that I received are simple a pin that is poorly placed. The weigh of the mattresses push the pin in and allowing the rails to separate and consequently fall apart.The first night using the rails my son pushed against the rail (in his sleep) causing the the connector pin to pop out. As a result, my son feel from about 3ft down onto his face. At first I thought it was his fault until I checked the playback video and noticed the rails were not connected in the morning.I think the rails are awesome with the exception of the pin system that keeps the rails connected (which is a very important part).Excelente tiempo de entrega, Es un buen producto sin embargo, por la parte de abajo cuando pasa por debajo del colchón tiene unos seguros o pernos qué unen los dos barandales de ambos lados por medio de cuerdas de nylon, en mi caso el colchón es pesado y oprime estos seguros y se soltaron y se cayó mi hija al recargarse, lo arregle colocando unos plásticos alrededor de los pines protefiendolos de que no se activen y han funcionado perfecto. Lo decepcionante fue qué contacte directo a la marca y su respuesta fue así es y solo existen esa manera de colocarlo.This product is good in theory but the engineering was not thought through. The bracket that holds the two panels in place is held together with pins that face upwards. Therefore the weight of the mattress and a toddler on it is enough to push down the pins, unclasping the bracket and allowing the two panels to disconnect. If a child leans against the panel that’s disconnected it will move and likely fall off the bed. We kept this product because we wanted two panels but we literally had to duct tape the brackets together so that they would no longer come apart. Like I said, good in theory but very poor execution on this product.Excelente producto, llego a tiempo. Tengo un colchon muy alto y las rejas sobresalen unos 15 cm aproximadamente, lo suficiente para que mi hijo no se caiga. No he tenido problemas con los seguros como mencionaban en otros comentarios.Lleva su tiempo y paciencia armarlas, sin embargo quien no esta acostumbrado a leer y seguir instructivos sin duda tendra mayores dificultades.Does not work if you have slabs under mattress. I probably should of returned it but after putting it together i didn't want to bother. We only use one side and ended up moving sons bed against the wall
