I bought two that are a little larger than a single chihuahua needs because he frequently takes his toys to bed and needs a little extra room. On the days I work remotely, he can be found in this bed at my feet, napping or playing with his toys. The second bed is a backup, so it goes into service when I wash the other.They are both plush and sturdy, and I love that I can remove the center bottom insert to make them easier to clean. I've put them in extra-large lingerie bags, washed them on the delicate setting in my washing machine, and hung them to dry. They've stayed just as lovely as when I first bought them through multiple washings -- and when you have a little dog that loves the mud as much as mine does, this is very important!
